Delayed ADHD diagnoses of girls risk ‘increase of suicide’

Girls with ADHD are diagnosed much later in life than boys, new Swedish national data revealed. Senior physician Svenny Kopp says the method of diagnoses is designed for boys, making young girls miss out on professional care. This could lead to more suicides since ADHD among girls is a known risk.
