Work background: Worked at the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs, Asia and Oceania department, during the summer and did my internship there during the spring. I also interned at the think tank Institute for Security and Development Policy, Japan Center (Stockholm), and worked part time as a Japanese language teacher.

Journalistic experience: I write monthly articles for a think tank in New York called Institute for Asian Crime and Security and I have been published in The Diplomat and The Japan Times, but it’s more of academic writing and not very journalistic. I have also been writer/editor for student magazines on international affairs.
